Funny you should mention 10/29? Find me three posts where GC doesn't mention 10/29!! ;-)

If you want another one that slips under the radar, if a show from 77 can slip under the radar, check out 5-17-77. Donna must really feel at home back in Alabama because imo it is her best show with the Dead. Great Jack Straw (Donna lets the accent loose on Cheyenne) and my favorite Jack-A-Roe

5/17 is yet another favorite from that year. I agree that it is actually a fine performance from the "Warbler", similar to the Mosque show.

Spot-on re: Donna on 5/17 and 5/25...much more in control or something...she sounds lovely.

But did I mention the incredible St. Stephen from 10/29? ;-)
